Merino wool, upcycled yarn, undyed eri silk fibers and flax, undyed habotari silk. Wet felted.
 
This small light-suffused abstract piece is a blend of warm and cold colours, with a prevalence of whites, browns and greys, and a few green and blue accents. The textures are varied and interesting due to the additions of different materials such as thicker felt surfaces, silk fabric scraps and upcycled yarns that give this artwork a tridimensional feeling. Eri silk fibers, flax and habotari silk scraps shine softly hope in this little calm mind space.
This piece is small-sized (around 27x32 cm, unmounted) and will be a tasteful addition in any space.
