Merino wool, upcycled yarn, undyed eri silk fibers. Wet felted.

This small, earthy abstract piece is a blend of warm and cold colours, with a prevalence of browns. Yellows, reds, pinks blues and white all have a space in this artwork, with a few green accents. The horizontal upcycled yarns that give this artwork a tridimensional feeling are in a careful gradient of colour from the bottom darker ones to the sparser and lighter coloured upper ones. Eri silk fibers shine softly in this little warm mind space, suggesting water.

The piece was inspired by a memory of rain falling over a plant-pots-filled balcony in Italy.

This piece is small-sized (around 30x35 cm, unmounted) and will be a tasteful addition in any space.
