Merino wool, silk, recycled sari silk. Wet felted.

This colourful wet felted portrait is set in an urban parc, where nature and man-made structures cohabit the space. Recycled sari silk fibers were used to mimic clothes textures. The ancient felting and embroidery techniques are remodeled in a bold modern urban rendition of everyday human types.

With its refreshing immediacy, this medium-sized portrait  (around 36x47 cm in size, unmounted) will give purpose and colour to any room.
