This medium light-suffused abstract piece features a prevalence of whites, greys and greens, with yellow and pewter accents. 3-D tear-shaped pockets represent the pushing out of orchid flowers from the everyday dullness into surprising life: a fragile and bold hope of Spring to come in the winter months. The presence of upcycled strings in the composition makes for a very textured yet soft-looking surface. White undyed rose fibers and silk carrier rods give radiance to this artwork.
This piece is medium-sized (around 40x50 cm, unmounted) and will be a tasteful addition in any space.
