The subject is taking his rest, and avoiding passers-by's eye-contact: the artist caught a self-contained moment of leisure within our urban hectic life rhythms, and we can feel the subject's inner contentdness shine through. The textures and different reflective surfaces of wool, flax and silk fibers add to the appeal of this small piece (size about 30x39 cm), that, due to its small size, can be paired with others in the series to set up a dialogue between works of art.
