Merino wool, Corriedale wool, Blue Faced Leicester wool, tussah silk, recycled string, silk carrier rods, flax (?) fibre from waste laps, recycled sari silk fibre. Wet felted.

A wetfelted abstract mindscape, with a hint of sunset, when I was thinking about family. It has a prevalence of warm colours, wine red and tan, with a hint of greys. The textures are varied and interesting due to the additions of different materials that give this artwork a tridimensional feeling. Five silk carrier pod shapes take centre stage and guide the eye towards the upper right corner. Eri and tussah silk fibers add a point of interest with their shine.

This piece is medium-sized (around 37x47 cm, unmounted) and will be a tasteful addition to any space.
